What's your ultimate comfort food? Can't beat a good chicken curry IMO...especially chicken curry with Roti Jala! The soft lacy crepes are folded or rolled up and perfect for sopping up the curry sauce!
Have you ever tried stir frying shredded tofu? Shredded tofu is commonly used to make a Chinese salad, but I decided to make stir fried "noodles"..So yummy! It's a delicious alternative to regular noodles!
What would you do with leftover cream, overripe mangoes and half a jar of passion fruit jelly? How about Vanilla Cardamom Panna Cotta with Mango Passion fruit compote? It's as delicious as it looks and so easy to make!
What's your ultimate stuffed baked potato? Kumpir is a Turkish stuffed baked potato that comes with a variety of toppings such as pickles, corn, olives, pickled cabbage and sausage. I gave this popular street food an Indian twist with lamb keema and cucumber raita. Omg it was beyond delicious!!
I've seen a few variations of Hakka Noodles here on IG. This is the version I'm most familiar with, aka Hakka Mee, where the noodles are topped with a flavourful mixture of meat, garlic, fish sauce and soy sauce. Simple but sooo delicious!
How yummy do these look?! Pan fried, rice paper-wrapped "sausage" rolls!🤤 Inspired by lor bak (5-spice meat rolls), but instead of a bean curd skin, I wrapped these in rice paper. And made a Vietnamese dipping sauce (nước chấm). Delicious!
What's your favourite kind of cheesecake? I love Basque (burnt) cheesecake and I'm so happy with how this Ube version turned out! I used ube paste/extract and powder but the batter was blue grey so I thought I'd end up with a greyish cheesecake😂 But look at the lovely colour! 💜 The ube flavour was just right and the texture was perfect too - smooth and creamy with a slightly runny centre, just the way I like it!
Food on a stick just tastes better, don't you agree? These chicken and chorizo skewers are certainly delicious, and go perfectly with cumin aïoli! They're great for a BBQ and so easy to make too:)
What's your favourite stuffing for mushrooms? I love all kinds, including these mouthwatering bacon and goat cheese stuffed mushrooms. They're to die for! And they're so easy to make!
Persian Love Cake❤️ Sounds divine, right?! Made these as mini cakes, flavoured with freshly ground cardamom, lemon zest and rose extract. Topped with lemon glaze, pistachios and rose petals. Yum! Happy Valentine's Day!💗
Apple cinnamon cake is super moist with a crunchy cinnamon sugar topping. It's a simple everyday cake, made with lots of apples, not too sweet and perfect to eat anytime of the day. Great with a cup of coffee!
Love baked chicken thighs? Stir-fried sticky rice? What about sticky rice stuffed chicken thighs? Omg, so delicious! The chicken is super moist and juicy with perfectly crispy skin, and the rice is so flavourful!
